Above the rooftops, a spectacular rainbow arches across a deep indigo sky filled with glowing stars and a bright yellow moon. Technique: This artwork is a masterclass in color layering and architectural character. Captain used a vibrant watercolor wash for the cosmic sky, blending deep blues and purples to make the white stippled stars truly sparkle. The rainbow is rendered with bold, confident strokes of color that provide a beautiful geometric contrast to the jagged city buildings. A standout feature is the use of bold black outlines to define the buildings and vehicles, giving the piece a strong, illustrative feel. The addition of the red textured airplane adds a wonderful pop of primary color against the cool tones of the night.
